Axial Split Case Pump


The axial split case pump is a horizontal, single-stage, double suction centrifugal pump specifically designed to deliver high efficiency, reliability, and simplified maintenance. With its axial split casing design, the upper casing can be easily removed, giving direct access to the impeller, shaft, and bearings without disturbing the suction or discharge pipework. This feature significantly reduces downtime during inspection, maintenance, or repair.
Key Design Features
Axial Split Casing: The casing is split along the shaft centerline, providing excellent accessibility for maintenance and easy replacement of wearing parts.
Double Suction Impeller: Fluid enters the impeller from both sides, balancing axial thrust, minimizing shaft deflection, and extending bearing life.
Opposite Suction and Discharge Flanges: This streamlined arrangement simplifies piping layout and enhances ease of installation.
Between-Bearings Support: Bearings located on both sides of the impeller ensure stable operation under high load and large capacity conditions.
Flexible Material Options: Available in cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, or bronze, making it suitable for a variety of fluids including clean water, seawater, cooling water, and industrial liquids.
